Legacy Windows Server: Collect MPS Reports

Legacy scope: This guide describes Windows Server 2003/2008 MPS Reports. The source identifies the tool as no longer updated. For later Windows Server releases, save the System and Application event logs as .evtx files or collect the diagnostics requested by Microsoft Support.

The operation steps for Windows Server 2008 are as follows (for version 2003, double-click MPSRPT_PRE.EXE and wait for it to complete automatically; the results are saved by default in C:\WINDOWS\MPSReports\PFE\cab).
