SMU v2

1. In Configuration View, right-click the system and select Tools → Save Logs.
2. Enter your name, email address and phone number. Each field permits up to 100 bytes. Enter comments describing the incident and its date/time; comments permit up to 500 bytes. The source excludes double quotes, angle brackets and backslashes from these values.
3. Click Save Logs, wait for collection and save the generated archive when prompted.

The source screenshots illustrate the corresponding v3 operation. Open the system action menu and select Save Logs:

Enter the requested contact information and incident comments, then click OK. The digits in the source fields are illustrative; provide actual case details.

Wait for log creation to finish and save the archive:

HPE documents that log collection and firmware loading share a controller buffer. Run only one save-logs operation at a time and avoid a firmware update during collection.
