Legacy Windows offline collector
The source illustrates HPE Nimble Storage Offline Data Collector version 0.4. Obtain the appropriate support-provided script package; no executable script is attached to this article.
- Use Windows 8 / Windows Server 2012 or later for the illustrated collector. Open PowerShell as administrator and run
$PSVersionTable; the source requires PowerShell 3.0 or later.

The source screenshot also shows Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted. That is a historical example, not a blanket prerequisite; follow the approved execution policy for the support-provided script.
- Confirm that the Windows collection machine can reach the Nimble management IP. The source screenshot shows Windows Firewall turned off; use the required approved connectivity rules rather than treating a disabled firewall as an inherent collector requirement.

- Extract the script package, change to its directory in PowerShell and run
nimble_win_x.ps1, where x identifies the version. The pictured version isnimble_win_04.ps1.

- Enter the Nimble management IP and the authorized administrator credentials when prompted, then click OK.

- Wait for collection to finish. The script writes the log in its own directory and prints the resulting path.

- Locate the log file, compress it and provide it through the requested support upload channel.
