NF5688M6: Source GPU Positions, Bus IDs and CPU Groups
Physical orientation in the source

The English localization diagram preserves the source orientation: viewed as drawn, the rear row is GPU2, GPU0, GPU7, GPU4 from left to right; the front row is GPU3, GPU1, GPU6, GPU5.

The bus values are hexadecimal bus-number portions from this example. CPU0 spans the first two physical columns; CPU1 spans the last two, as shown in the original merged cells. The source’s trailing “SN:” label is followed by the caption “NF5688M6 Front Panel,” not an actual supplied device serial number.
Source nvidia-smi output

The original output records NVIDIA-SMI/driver 460.73.01 and CUDA 11.2. It agrees with the table’s bus assignments: 0 → 10, 1 → 16, 2 → 49, 3 → 4D, 4 → 89, 5 → 8E, 6 → C5, 7 → C9. These are archived example values, not a fixed enumeration contract for every NF5688M6.
Confirm the current device identities and platform topology before replacing or targeting a GPU. OS/firmware, enumeration and configuration can differ; an index alone is not a permanent physical identifier.
