Case investigation

Replacing the front and rear drive backplanes, RAID controller and controller cables did not resolve the repeated alarms. The investigation ultimately identified an older firmware version on the front drive backplane.

Case resolution

The source calls for updating the front drive backplane firmware to V1.09 or later. This requirement belongs to the described 2288H V3 configuration. Confirm the actual backplane part/revision and matching vendor update package; this is not an instruction to apply the same firmware to all V3 backplanes.
