E-Series 0E LF Lockdown: Source Console Recovery Commands
This is a source recovery note for the displayed controller condition 0E LF. Confirm the exact seven-segment code, controller model, SANtricity release and reason for lockdown with the vendor. Clearing a lock does not itself repair the underlying hardware/database condition.
- Connect to the controller’s serial console at the source’s 115200 baud.
- Use the authorized console account and its configured credentials. The source mentions
shellUsroreosdepending on firmware, and says the configured management password can replace an old default. Do not assume those account/authentication rules are identical on every firmware. Literal default passwords are omitted. - After the source’s
->prompt appears, it enters the following two commands in order:
clearHardwareLockdown
lemClearLockdownThe source describes these as clearing hardware and software lockdown, respectively, and repeats the steps on each controller displaying the condition. This is not authorization to clear both controllers without checking the actual fault, HA state and support procedure. Preserve diagnostic information and verify recovery before further changes.
A public official recovery article confirming this exact 0E LF case was not independently retrieved. Other lockdown codes and community examples are not proof that the same commands or account policy apply to every E-Series incident.
