Lenovo XCC: Power On Automatically After AC Power Returns

  1. Sign in to the server’s XClarity Controller with the required privileges.
  2. Open Server Configuration > Power Policy.
  3. Under Power Restore Policy, select Always On and click Apply where provided by that XCC version.
English localization of XCC Power Policy, with Restore selected and Always On outlined as the option to choose

This is an English localization illustration. The original screen has Restore selected; the red rectangle identifies the Always On option to choose. The illustration does not show that the change has already been applied. The random one-to-fifteen-second delay checkbox remains unchecked.

Always Off leaves the server off after power returns. Restore follows its pre-outage state. Always On powers it on after AC returns. This is a restore policy, not an immediate power-on command.

Lenovo’s official English policy guide confirms these choices and Apply. Blade/high-density nodes may instead be controlled by the chassis management controller; use the applicable platform guide.
