Operation Guide I. Lenovo (China) Data Center Product Support Website
1. Access the following link via a browser: https://datacentersupport.lenovo.com/cn/zc, click the "Server" icon to select the product series, as shown in the figure below:

2. Using the download of Windows Server 2008 R2 drivers for the standard ServeRAID M5210 array card on System x3650 M5 as an example.
Choose System x, then System x3650 M5 and its actual machine type. This example uses Type 8871; the same model name can cover more than one machine type, so confirm the server identity before selecting a package.
Note: The same server model may have multiple MT (Machine Type) codes. To determine the server's MT, please refer to "View System x Server Host Number and Query Warranty Period" (Knowledge Base ID: 154334).

3. Open Drivers & Software on the left. The illustration highlights that menu; the serial-number input is empty and the displayed warranty state is unknown.

4. The historical source uses the Windows Server 2008 (64-bit) category for a Windows Server 2008 R2 example. The picture shows that option highlighted in an open menu, with its checkbox still unchecked. Select the intended filter and verify the package README explicitly supports the actual OS and controller; a broad category label alone is insufficient.

5. In the RAID/SAS HBA Controllers category, locate the appropriate ServeRAID M Series controller driver. The later figures show version 6.710.11.00; the earlier open-filter figure still displays an unrelated Intel VMware result, which is not the Windows ServeRAID package to download.

6. Expand the intended package and download its actual driver file, shown as fix in this historical interface. The source top row is dated 19 Jul 2016 while its child files are dated 18 Jul 2016. These are archived UI values; they do not identify the currently preferred package. Note: readme provides installation/release information, change history describes changes and InstallXML is metadata used by UpdateXpress. The fix row is the executable payload in this example. Check the applicable README, supported hardware/OS, prerequisites and checksum before use; downloading a driver is separate from applying it.

II. Lenovo (Global) Data Center Product Support Website
1. Access the following link via a browser: https://datacentersupport.lenovo.com/us/en/ (the global English entry point), and search for the server model or machine type.
2. Below, using the download of MegaRAID Storage Management software for System x3650 M5 as an example, enter 8871 in "Product Name, Serial Number or Machine Type", then click "System x3650 M5 - Type 8871" to enter the product page.

3. Open Drivers & Software, then filter the actual operating system and software/component category. The English example uses Software and Utilities with Windows Server 2008 (64-bit) and shows MegaRAID Storage Manager 17.05.06.00-0 dated 31 Jan 2022; it illustrates locating a management utility, not installing the earlier ServeRAID driver or proving current support.

4. Expand the required package and use its Download control for the appropriate payload. Choose according to the actual file description and compatibility information, not the extension alone.
5. Keyword search can narrow the list. The archived UEFI example shows 22 results and a BIOS/UEFI tile; it is a discovery step, not an instruction to flash every result. Identify the exact system firmware package and read its instructions before any update.
