Scope of Application
Inspection Purpose
Ensure the device host serial number record is accurate to guarantee customers can normally initiate repair requests via the official 400 hotline.
Confirm that no fault ticket was submitted for the device before warranty coverage began, to avoid additional cost losses for customers and project teams (pre-warranty faults are not covered under standard maintenance).
Inspection Method
On-site Inspection
Engineers enter the customer's server room, verify the device chassis serial number label, inspect the device appearance, indicator light status, and hardware operation status. This is typically executed synchronously with server inspection.
Remote Inspection (Recommended)
If the server room access process is cumbersome or device locations are dispersed, log in to the device command line remotely via Telnet/SSH to complete online inspection.
