Scope
Inspection Objectives
- Verify the accuracy of the device host serial number (SN) to ensure customers can normally call the Dell official 400 hotline for repair.
- Confirm that there are no pre-warranty fault tickets, avoiding additional cost losses for customers and the project team (pre-warranty faults are not covered under standard maintenance).
3 Inspection Methods
On-site Inspection
Engineers enter the server room, verify the SN label on the device chassis, and inspect appearance, indicator lights, power supply, fans, and physical port status. This is typically completed synchronously with server inspection.
Remote Inspection (Recommended)
