1. Scope of Application

F5 BIG-IP standard series: BIG-IP 2000s, BIG-IP 4000s, etc.

2. Purpose of Equipment Verification

1. Ensure that the device host serial number is recorded without error to ensure that customers can subsequently initiate a normal repair process by calling the 400 hotline.

3. Equipment Verification Method

3.1 On-site Verification

Engineers enter the customer's server room to verify the equipment host serial number labels and inspect the device appearance indicator lights and hardware operating status, typically performed concurrently with server verification.

3.2 Remote Verification (Recommended)

If the server room access process is relatively cumbersome or the device addresses are widely dispersed, you can log in to the device command line via remote connection methods such as Telnet or SSH for online verification inspection.

1. SSH login to the BIG-IP backend command line

1. Enter the tmsh command to access the TMOS view

1. Enter the required commands to collect (press Spacebar to continue printing, press Q to terminate printing)

1. (Optional) Enter the quit command to exit the TMOS view and collect logs; when logs are numerous, wait for some time or collect only recent logs.
