SPS Indicator Explanation

LED Explanation:
LED | Color | Status | Description |
SPS Power | Green | On | SPS ready and running normally; battery fully charged |
Blinking | Powering/Battery charging
-- | Off | Off/Disconnected
SPS Battery | Amber | On | AC power is off; SPS is providing DC output using battery. Note: If the system switches to battery power and no other online SPS is connected to the SP, the system writes all cached data to disk and logs this event in the event log. |
SPS No Battery | Amber | On | SPS battery is not fully charged and may not be available for cache flush operations. If the battery is in this state and no other online SPS is connected to the SP, the system disables write caching and writes any modified pages to disk first. Replace the SPS as soon as possible. |
SPS Failure | Amber | On | Internal SPS failure detected. The SPS may still operate online but cannot perform write caching. Replace the SPS as soon as possible. |
