Device Hardware Operation Status Check
Device Indicator Light Status Check
Inspection Requirements | Observe the panel indicator lights to check for red alarm lights. |
Inspection Method | Enter the rack where the device is located in the server room and check the appearance of the device panel indicator light status information. |
Rectification Suggestions | If the indicator light status is abnormal, check whether the device has hardware or software faults based on the indicator light information. |
Storage System Status Check
Inspection Requirements | The storage system must be in a normal running state. |
Inspection Method | View the storage system status via the GUI homepage. Reference Standard The storage system status can be viewed on the GUI homepage, as shown in Figure 1. Figure 1 Storage System Status 1. New models or high-version storage: Browser GUI  2. Old models or low-version storage:  Current precautions and alarms can be viewed from the Management Homepage Alarm Overview and the icon in the upper right corner. |
Rectification Suggestions | If the storage system is abnormal, check for hardware faults. |
Controller Status Check

Device Power Operation Status Check
Check Requirements | The device power must be in normal operating status. |

Remediation Suggestions | If there are power module-related alerts on the 'Current Alerts' page, select the alert and handle it based on the detailed description and remediation suggestions on the right. |
Device Control Chassis BBU Operation Status Check
Check Requirements | The device control chassis BBU must be in normal operating status. |
Inspection Method | 1. New models or high-version storage: Browser GUI Physical Resources Device Battery  2. Old models or low-version storage: MacroSAN ODSP Scope Physical Resources SPU or DSUs Battery  |
Remediation Suggestions | If there are BBU-related alerts on the 'Current Alerts' page, select the alert and handle it based on the detailed description and remediation suggestions on the right. |
Device Fan Group Operation Status Check
Check Requirements | The device fan group must be in normal operating status. |
Inspection Method | 1. New models or high-version storage: Browser GUI Physical Resources Device Fans  2. Old models or low-version storage: MacroSAN ODSP Scope Physical Resources SPU or DSUs Fans  |
Remediation Suggestions | If there are fan group-related alerts on the 'Current Alerts' page, select the alert and handle it based on the detailed description and remediation suggestions on the right. |
Device Hard Drive Operation Status Check
Check Requirements | The device hard drive must be in normal operating status. |
Inspection Method | 1. New models or high-version storage: Browser GUI Physical Resources Disks Disk List  2. Old models or low-version storage: MacroSAN ODSP Scope Physical Resources Disks  |
Remediation Suggestions | If alert information related to hard disks exists on the 'Current Alerts' page, select the alert and handle it based on the detailed description and repair suggestions on the right. |
Host port status operational check
Inspection requirements | The host port status must be in normal operation state. |
Inspection method | 1. New models or high-version storage: Browser GUI Physical Resources Device 'Various Ports'  2. Old models or low-version storage: MacroSAN ODSP Scope Physical Resources SPUSPx Physical Port List  |
Rectification suggestions | If alert information related to front-end ports exists on the 'Current Alerts' page, select the alert and handle it based on the detailed description and repair suggestions on the right. |
Device interface module status operational check
Inspection requirements | The device interface module status must be in normal operation state. |
Inspection method | 1. New models or high-version storage: Browser GUI Physical Resources Device 'FC Ports' Management Error Information  2. Old models or low-version storage: MacroSAN ODSP Scope cannot view management FC port error information |
Rectification suggestions | If alert information related to interface modules exists on the 'Current Alerts' page, select the alert and handle it based on the detailed description and repair suggestions on the right. |
Device system business operational status check
Check storage RAID status
Inspection requirements | Storage pool status must be checked. |
Inspection method | 1. New models or high-version storage: Browser GUI Storage Resources RAIDs  2. Old models or low-version storage: MacroSAN ODSP Scope Storage Pool RAIDs  |
Rectification suggestions | If alert information related to storage pools exists on the 'Current Alerts' page, select the alert and handle it based on the detailed description and repair suggestions on the right. |
Check LUN status
Inspection requirements | LUN status must be checked. |
Inspection method | 1. New models or high-version storage: Browser GUI Storage Resources LUNs  2. Old models or low-version storage: MacroSAN ODSP Scope Storage Pool LUNs  |
Rectification suggestions | If there are LUN-related alert messages on the 'Current Alerts' page, select the alert and handle it based on the detailed description and remediation suggestions on the right. |
