Explanation of IBM Storwize Error 1370

Through our research, we found that this type of drive treats a specific SCSI command (used for certain information collection) as illegal, resulting in the 1370 error you see on the GUI (details below).

1370 - (1370 is merely an event generated by SCSI and not necessarily an error; a large portion can be treated as a media message and ignored. Specific analysis must be based on the details of the 1370 event.)

        10018 Illegal Request
10030 Node or Controller reported SKCQ

It has no impact on the system or data and can be considered a false alarm. For now, you may ignore the 1370 errors reported by these flash drives.

We will fix this issue in the next version. Patch version number: HU02357. However, since the issue was just discovered, the new version containing the fix may require you to wait several months. (Search for this patch number in the release notes.)
