H3C Server HDM One-Click Log Collection

3.9 One-Click Collection

This function collects the server's log information, including hardware information and fault diagnosis information. You can also add contact information for inquiries about log analysis. To analyze the collected logs, use UniSystem. For details, see the UniSystem User Guide.

1. Procedure

  1. Click the [Information/One-Click Collection] menu item to open the One-Click Collection page.
  2. Choose whether to download all logs or the logs within a specified time range.
    • Download all logs: select <Download All Logs>.
    • Download the logs within a specified time range: in the "Download Logs" section, enter the start time and end time.
  3. (Optional) Enter the contact information: "Name", "Phone" and "Email".
  4. Click <Download Logs> to start downloading the logs. The page displays the download progress.
  5. When the download is complete, save the .sds log file to the local PC.

2. Precautions

  • Multiple users cannot download logs at the same time.
  • Use the time of the event logs as the reference for the log download time range.
  • SDS logs record time in UTC, while the HDM time follows the setting on the NTP page. When the SDS log is downloaded, the HDM time is automatically converted to UTC, so there may be a time difference between the two.
